Administrative Assistant, Facilitator
Samantha Bacon, BA, CHW | Administrative Assistant, Facilitator
My name is Samantha, and I come from a vibrant family of nine siblings. As the seventh child, I’ve always thrived in a large, chaotic environment. I’m proud to be a first-generation college student; I recently earned two AA degrees, one in Psychology and the other in Social and Behavioral Sciences. I am now on my journey toward my bachelor’s degree.
I’ve lived in Willits for over 20 years and am deeply committed to my community. From a young age, I’ve enjoyed helping others, whether it was babysitting my younger siblings, volunteering with Girl Scouts to feed veterans during the holidays, or contributing over 200 hours of service during my time at a charter school.
My interest in psychology blossomed in college, and I find it incredibly rewarding to work in this field. Currently, I work in wraparound services, where I’ve completed various training courses, including trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and cultural humility. Using my childhood experiences to help others has been a profound gift, and I’m dedicated to making a positive impact in people’s lives.
Youth Care Coach
Natalie Beltran, CHW | Youth Care Coach
I am an early childhood education professional and preschool teacher with an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Santa Rosa Junior College. I bring a trauma-informed care background and experience working with foster youth and families through wraparound services.
As a single mother of three adult children, my personal journey has strengthened my passion for supporting children and families. I continue to advance my skills through ongoing professional development, including training in the Teaching Pyramid framework and ELI coursework. I am grateful to be part of a wraparound team and remain committed to creating safe, supportive, and developmentally responsive environments.
Youth Care Coach
Stormee Best, CHW | Youth Care Coach
Hello! My name is Stormee Best and I’m driven by a deep commitment to helping individuals feel seen, supported, and empowered. Growing up in the foster care system and navigating a family impacted by addiction and mental health challenges shaped my understanding of resilience, compassion, and the importance of accessible support. These experiences inspired me to pursue work where I can be the person I once needed, someone who listens without judgment and advocates with purpose.
Administrative Director
Mahala Kuehne, MPH, CHW | Administrative Director
Hi, I'm Mahala. I handle the administrative side of your family's wraparound experience. I am no stranger to how important wraparound services are to families and communities; two of my siblings went through the wraparound process, and I was a teacher for five years. I feel proud to play a role in such a wonderful agency and within a fantastic community. Our team at Synergy is made up of one-of-a-kind individuals, and I couldn't be more excited for you to meet your team.
Clinician, Executive Director
Tabitha Kuehne, LMFT, CHW | Clinician, Executive Director
Tabitha Kuehne was born in New Jersey and moved with her family to Germany before the age of one; German was her first language. After completing kindergarten in Germany, she returned to the United States, where she completed the remainder of her education. From a young age, Tabitha was driven by a deep curiosity about human behavior and a desire to understand why people do what they do.
She earned her Associate of Arts degree at College of the Redwoods in Eureka, California, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Cal Poly Humboldt. She later completed her Master’s degree in Counseling and became a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
Tabitha’s work is deeply informed by both professional training and lived experience. As a survivor of childhood abuse and neglect, she brings a grounded, compassionate, and realistic understanding of trauma, resilience, and systems involvement. This perspective shapes her clinical approach and her commitment to high-fidelity, family-centered care.
Her professional background spans a wide range of systems and settings, including fast food, motel reception, dental offices, special education classrooms, juvenile corrections, juvenile and adult probation, substance use disorder counseling, foster care and adoption agencies, subcontracted work with State Parole, and private psychotherapy practice. She has fostered many children, adopted two, is a biological parent, and is a proud Lola (grandmother).
Tabitha is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), integrating mind–body awareness and nervous system regulation into her clinical and leadership work. She holds a California real estate license as part of her broader professional skill set, though she does not actively practice real estate.
She is known for her honesty, persistence, and advocacy. Tabitha values deep, genuine connection, creative and out-of-the-box thinking, and direct communication. She approaches her work with empathy, clarity, and determination, and is deeply committed to the families and clients she serves.
Outside of work, Tabitha enjoys learning, yoga, fitness, travel, reading, cooking vegetarian and vegan meals, and spending time with her family and animals.
“I feel deeply passionate about Wraparound. When done with fidelity, it is an incredibly powerful service. It is an honor to be invited into a family’s team and to support their growth, resilience, and change.”
— Tabitha Kuehne, MA, LMFT
