About Us
At Synergy Family Services, our mission is to provide high-fidelity, comprehensive, and holistic support services that empower youth and families to thrive together. We offer both post-adoption wraparound support for adopted youth and their families and community health support services delivered by our team of Community Health Workers (CHWs). Our wraparound services are available to qualifying adopted youth and their families. Our community health support is available to all Medi-Cal covered or eligible youth, adults, and families.
Through these tailored services, we aim to prevent out-of-home placements, foster stability, and promote healing in a nurturing, compassionate environment. We are committed to walking alongside those we serve, offering high-quality, ethical care to help them navigate life’s challenges.
We envision a community where every individual and family feels supported, connected, and equipped to face life’s complexities with confidence. Synergy Family Services aspires to become a trusted community resource in building resilient families, ensuring that no one faces their journey alone. By expanding our reach and services, we strive to create a future where everyone can access the help they need to thrive.
Our Founders
Tabitha Kuehne and Mahala Kuehne co-founded this non-profit from their personal and professional experiences and desire to help the community, through strengthening family units.

What Makes Us Special
We are a small organization so we are able to keep the personal touch. All of our staff are dedicated and excited about the work of helping local youth and families in need. We are readily available to all our families and build genuine and caring relationships with each of them as a whole and individually. We believe in supporting the whole family unit, not just a single individual. We believe strongly in doing wraparound to fidelity, meaning we let the families know this collaboration will be a commitment. We are upfront about what we come with and what we (through the lens of wrap) expect and hope for the families to ongoingly participate in. We value maintaining communication, consistency, and clarity for families in our agency, and train staff to do the same.
