Administrative Assistant, Facilitator
Samantha Bacon, BA, CHW | Administrative Assistant, Facilitator
My name is Samantha, and I am a first-generation college graduate who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, along with Associate degrees in Psychology and Social and Behavioral Sciences. Growing up in a large family taught me the importance of mental well-being, healthy relationships, and the power of meaningful connections. I have lived in Willits for over 20 years and am deeply committed to serving my community.
As a mother, Certified Wellness Coach, and mental health professional with over five years of experience, I am passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenges and build resilience. At Synergy Family Services, I work in both Wraparound and Enhanced Care Management (ECM) services, using a strengths-based, person- and family-centered approach to support individuals, youth, and families. In my professional role, I am often seen as a facilitator and administrative support professional, helping coordinate services, strengthen communication among team members, and ensure that individuals and families receive the resources and support they need.
This experience has strengthened my ability to organize, collaborate, and build meaningful relationships while supporting positive outcomes for those I serve. I am dedicated to empowering others to recognize their strengths, build resilience, and create meaningful change in their lives and communities.
Youth Care Coach
Natalie Beltran, CHW | Youth Care Coach
I am an early childhood education professional and preschool teacher with an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Santa Rosa Junior College. I bring a trauma-informed care background and experience working with foster youth and families through wraparound services.
As a single mother of three adult children, my personal journey has strengthened my passion for supporting children and families. I continue to advance my skills through ongoing professional development, including training in the Teaching Pyramid framework and ELI coursework. I am grateful to be part of a wraparound team and remain committed to creating safe, supportive, and developmentally responsive environments.

Administrative Director
Mahala Kuehne, MPH, CHW | Administrative Director
Hi, I'm Mahala. I handle the administrative side of your family's wraparound experience. I am no stranger to how important wraparound services are to families and communities; two of my siblings went through the wraparound process, and I was a teacher for five years. I feel proud to play a role in such a wonderful agency and within a fantastic community. Our team at Synergy is made up of one-of-a-kind individuals, and I couldn't be more excited for you to meet your team.
Co-Founder, Executive Director & Clinical Director
Tabitha Kuehne, LMFT, CHW | Co-Founder, Executive Director & Clinical Director
Tabitha Kuehne is the Co-Founder, Executive Director, and Clinical Director of Synergy Family Services and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Her work is driven by a lifelong curiosity about human behavior and a commitment to helping individuals and families create meaningful, lasting change.
Having spent her early childhood on the East Coast and in Europe, where German was her first language, Tabitha brings a multicultural perspective to her work. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminal Justice from Cal Poly Humboldt and a Master's degree in Counseling.
Her professional experience spans juvenile corrections, probation, substance use treatment, special education, foster care and adoption services, state parole, and private psychotherapy. This diverse background informs her practical, compassionate, and systems-oriented approach to supporting individuals and families.
Tabitha is particularly passionate about high-fidelity WrapAround services and Enhanced Care Management (ECM). She believes meaningful change requires collaboration, strong relationships, accountability, and an understanding of the broader circumstances affecting people's lives.
She is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) and published author whose writing explores adoption, trauma, family relationships, and personal growth.
Known for her honesty, direct communication, persistence, and willingness to challenge conventional thinking, Tabitha believes meaningful change sometimes requires difficult conversations. She values authenticity, compassion, curiosity, and creative problem-solving, and is committed to advocating for individuals and families with both empathy and integrity.
Tabitha is excited to continue expanding Synergy Family Services to reach more people while maintaining the quality, integrity, and fidelity of its programs. She believes organizational growth should never come at the expense of meaningful, individualized care.
"I feel deeply passionate about WrapAround. When done with fidelity, it is an incredibly powerful service. It is an honor to be invited into a family's team and to support their growth, resilience, and change."
